Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, July 5th3
1927. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll
was called and Comiissioners Helvering, Campbell and Dodds
responded. City ttorney Norris absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of hearing any complaints
that may be made by property owners as to the fairness and
validity of the valuation placed by the appraisers as per their
report on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City for
the construction of a 1,1ain Sanitary Sewer in:
Prescott Avenue between Eleventh and Montrose;
Ohio Avenue between Iron Avenue and the alley south of
Gypsum Avenue, and in that alley between Ohio Avenue and Missouri
Avenue;
and for the construction of lateral sanitary sewer in:
Montrose Avenue between Prescott and Crawford;
Phillips Street between Prescott and Crawford;
Alley between Ninth and Tenth Street from Hamilton to
Inez;
Alley between Minneapolis and Ellsworth from Fourth to
Osborne;
Montrose Avenue from South Street to Morrison Avenue;.•
Twelfth Street from Iron Avenue to �ialnut Street;
Eleventh Street betweem Crawford 'venue and Republic Avenue..-

was taken up and read as f ollots:

We, John Frederick, Ralph A. Smith and Alex Berg, being
duly and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does
hereby solemnly swear that he is an owner of real estate in the
City of Salina, Kansas, and is disinterested in any of the property
liable to special assessment for the cost of constructing -main sewers
in Main Sewer Districts ttNt' and "0" in the City of Salina, Kansas,
as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance
Number 3375 of the City of Salina; and that eadh of us will to the
best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraise-
ment of all the lots and pieces of ground included in Main Sewer
Districts numbered "N" and "Of' as above described, without regard
to the buildings or improvements thereon, for the distance to be
improved as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners
in said Ordinance Number 3375 of the City of Salina. So help us
