SALINA, KANSAS.
JUNE 21st, 1927.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners June
21st, 1927. Meeting waw called to order by Acting kayor
Campbell, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell
and Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
Helvering absent.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing and guttering, exca-
vating, grading and paving of Inez Avenue from the west line
Ninth Street, thence west approxEma e y 660 feet to the west
City limits, and providing for the cost thereof, how the ��
same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the fbllowing vote was had; Ayes: Hodderind,
Campbell 42) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent.
Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3398.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An.ordinance providing for the curbing and guttering, excavat-
ing, grading and paving of Ninth Street from the north line
of Otis Avenue to the north�fne
-oyez Avenue, and providing
for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the
manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell
and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent.
Acting Mayor approved the same.and is numbered 3399.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing and guttering, excavat-
ing, grading and paving of 2Zpsum Avenue from the west line
of Ohio Street to the west line of Indiana Avenue, and provid-
ing for the cost thereof, how the sfLme shall be assessed
and the manner of payment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hampbell
and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Acting Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3400.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the construction of certain Storm
Sewers in the City of Salina to be designated as Storm Sewers
Numbers 5, 6 and 7, and providing for the issuing of Improve-
ment Bonds to pay the cost thereof.cr
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell
and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent.
Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3401.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds, meeting adjourned.
