RESOLUTION NUMBER 21-7989
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY THE CITY OF WICHITA,
KANSAS, OF HEAL TH CARE FACILITIES REVENUE BONDS (PRESBYTERIAN MANORS,
INC.) IN AN AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $200,000,000 (the "BONDS") PURSUANT TO
K.S.A.12-1740, ET SEQ. AS THE BONDS RELATE, IN PART, TO THE CONSTRUCTION
AND EQUIPPING OF IMPROVEMENTS TO A FACILITY OPERATED BY PRESBYTERIAN
MANORS, INC. LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The Governing Body approves the issuance by the City of Wichita, Kansas of Health
Care Facilities Revenue Bonds (Presbyterian Manors , Inc.), in an aggregate principal amount of not to
exceed $200,000,000 (the "Bonds") pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1740 et seq. (the "Act") to provide funds to:
(a) refund all or a portion of the City of Wichita, Kansas Health Care Facilities Rev enue Bonds
(Presbyterian Manors, Inc .), Series IV-A, 2013 and Series IV-A, 2014 (collectively, the "Refunded
Bonds"); and (b) to finance the acquisition, construction and equipping of improvements to senior living
and health care facilities located within the State of Kansas operated by Presbyterian Manors , Inc.
(collectively, the "Project"), including the facility operated by Presbyterian Manors, Inc. located within
the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized to execute and transmit the form of Certificate of City
Clerk provided by the City of Wichita, Kansas certifying that the Governing Body approved the
issuance of the Bonds this 27th day of September, 2021.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 27th day of September,
2021.
