COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
NNE 20th, 1927.
Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June
20th, 1927. Meeting was .ca;led to. order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners.Helvering,.Campbell
and Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
Meeting was held for the purpose of hearing any complaints
that may be made by property owners.as.to the fairness and
validity of the valuation placed by..the appraisers as per their
report on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City
for the curbing, guttering and paving of:
Eleventh Street from Elm Street to Bishop Street; and
for the curbing and guttering of the south side of:
Counta Club Road from Marymount Road to Hilldale Road.
The appraisers report for the curbing, guttering and
paving of Eleventh Street from Elm Street to Bishop Street
was taken up and read as follows:

We, John Frederick, Ralph A. Smith.and Alex Berg, being
duly and severally sworn according to law,_each.for himself,
does hereby solemnly swear that heis, an.owner of real estate
in the City of Salina, Kansas, and is disinterested in any
of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of
curbing, guttering and paving Eleventh Street in the City of
Salina, Kansas, from Elm street to Bis op treet in said City,
as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance
Number 3357 of the City of Salina: and that each of us will
to the best of our judgment and,abi.lity make a true and im-
partial appraisement of all the lots and .pieces of ground
abutting on such respective street as above described without
regard to the buildings or improvements thereon, for the
distance to be improved as set forth and designated by the
Board of Commissioners in said Ordinance Number 3357 of the
City of Salina. So help us God.

On motion of Commissioner Campbell the appraisers report
for the curbing, guttering and paving of Eleventh Street from Elm
Street to Bishop Street be adopted as read. Motion adopted.
The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of the
south side of Country Club Road from Marymount Road to Hilldale
Road was taken up and read as follows:
