COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JANUARY 17th, 1927.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners January
17th, 1927. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell
and Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 10th,
1927 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering,
Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3326.
Applications for taxicab licenses for the year 1927 were
received from:
W. Be McMickle (8)
W. C. Riggs (1)
Commissioner Campbell moved that license be granted.
Motion carried.
A petition was received asking for the installation of a
street light at the corner of Seventh Street and Grand Avenue.
Same was referred to the City Manager.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, Board of Commissioners
adjourned#
