Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, December 27th, 1926. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell and Dodds and City attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 20th, 1926 were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim." On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays (0) The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3321. Taxicab liability policy of ':i. B. llcl:iickle, covering eight taxicabs, written by Plorwich-Union Insurance Company, was received, and on motion of Commissioner Campbell same was approved by the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to the salaries, compensation and duties of certain city officers, and creating certain offices, and repealing certain ordinances and parts thereof, and all other ordinances in conflict herewith." On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. resignation of R. L. Duffens as a member of idemorial Ball Trustees was received. On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was accepted by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Campbell moved that Ralph Hollenback be appointed to fill unexpired term of R. L. Duffens , and on roll call the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0 ) Commissioner Dodds moved that Farmers Union Auditing Association be employed to make audit of City's books for year ending December 31st, 19263 and 'I'Iater Department from July lst to December 31st, 1926 at a _price of w350.00.
