SEPTEMBER 20th, 1926.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Sep-
tember 20th, 1926. Meeting was called to order b layor
Helvering, the roll was called and Commissioners leering,
Campbell and Dodds and City t'ttorney Norris responded.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of September
13th, 1926 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Helvering, Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The 14Ryor
approved the same and is numbered 3290.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading
entitled: "An ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance
Number 3265 entitled, tAn ordinance extending the route
of the bus line operated by the Salina Street Railway
Company as authorized by ordinance 14o. 3227, and changing
the schedule fixed in said ordinance, t and repealing said
original Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3265, and providing for
the discontinuance of Street Car Service on that portion of
the Walnut Street line west of Eleventh Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the submission to the legal
voters of the City of Salina, Kansas, at the general election
to be held on November 2nd, 1926, the question of authorizing
the sale of certain real estate belonging to the City of
Salina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
