COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SA LINA , KANSAS.
SEPTEMBER 8th, 1926.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Sep-
tember 8th, 1926. Meeting was called to order by Mayor
Helvering, the roll was called and Commissioners Helver-
ing, Campbell and Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 30th,
1926, were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the issuance of Improvement
Bonds of the City of Salina, Kansas in the sum of $183,977.99
to pay the cost of improving certain streets and constructing
a certain storm sewer in said City."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance
was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption
the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
He lvering , Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 3288.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance authorizing the salo of certain real estate
by the City of Salina and directing the execution of a
conveyance thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
J. F. Corder, Attorney for Salina Street Railway
Company, appeared before the Board of Commissioners and
asked what action the Commission contemplated doing in
regard to the request of the Company in the matter of
granting the re-routing of Street Car Bus.
On motion, the City Itttorney was directed to prepare
the necessary ordinance.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, Board of Com-
missioners adjourned.
