APRIL 5th, 1926.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissi oners , April
5th, 1926. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell,
Chambers and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minuten of the Regular Meeting of March 29th, 192619
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An prdinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Chambers, Campbell and
Helvering. (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3232.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering, excavating,
rading and paving Eleventh Street in the City of Salina,
nsas from the north line of Elm Street to the south line of
Bishop street in said City, and providing for the cost thereof
how the same shall be assessed and the amnner of payment
therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first -reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing that certain unplatted tracts of land
be added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina,
Kansas, and extending the City limits of said City so as to
include said added land and repealing all ordinances or parts of
ordinances which are in conflict with any part of said ordi-
nance.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
Ralph Anderson submitted his resignation as a member of
the City Planning Commission.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was accepted by
the Board of Commissioners.
A petition was presented asks for the excavating, grading,
curbing and guttering nd-graveling Harsh Street from Ninth
Street to Santa Ile Avenue
On motion same was referred to the City Manager.
A petition was presented asking fur the curbing and gut-
tering of Republic Avenue from Fifth Street to Second 6treet.
On motion same was referred to the City Manager.
A petition was presented asking for the construction of a
sidewalk on the south side of Harsh Street from Ninth Street to
Santa Fe "venue.
A petition was presented asking for the removal of old
building located east of Fourth Street and south of Bond Street.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred to
the City manager.
L. il. Rexroad presented his Ifaintenance, Performance and -
Statutory Bonds for the excavating, grading and graveling: i
Thirteenth Street from Union Pacific Right-of-way to
Grand Avenue;
Tenth Street fromLincoln Avenue to Grand `ivenue.
For the widening of Seventh Street from 771alnut Street to
Elm Street;
Curbing, guttering, excavating, grading- and graveling Tinc6ln
�_ Avenue from Ninth to Tenth Streets.

On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the City attorney for his approval.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
