COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Campbell and Chambers (2) Nays: (0) The Acting Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 3231. Commissioner
Helvering absent.
Commissioner Chambers moved that the City Clerk
give public notice in the official City paper as provided
by law of certain recommendations submittdd by the City
Planning Commission, to -wit:
Of a Commercial District on the four corners of
Pacific and Santa Fe Avenue;
For the extension of light industrial district on
East Iron -''venue to include all of the area on eac� side
of Iron avenue between the river and Third Street.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.

Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, March
29th, 1926. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor
Campbell, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell
and Chambers and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Adjourned Meeting of March 26th,
1926 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading
entitled: "An ordinance specifying and selecting the
material to be used and letting a contract for the curb-
ing, excavating, grading and graveling with sand clay of
Lincoln Avenue from the west line of Ninth Street to the
west line of Tenth Street, and for the excavating, grading
and graveling with sand clay of Thirteenth Street from
the north line of Union Pacific Ri t -of -fray to the south
line of Grand Avenue and of Tenth treet from the north
line of Lincoln Avenue to the south line of Grand Avenue
if
in the City of Salina, Kansas.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Campbell and Chambers (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Hel-
vering abs ent. The Mayor approved the same and is num-
bered 3230.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entit-
led: An ordinance specifying and selecting the material
to be used and letting a contract for the re -curbing and
guttering of Seventh street in the City of Salina, Kansas
from the north line of Walnut Street to the south line of
Elm Street in said City."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
