JANUARY 25th, 1926.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, January
25th, 1926. Meeting was called to order by Acting 1�%yor ,Camp-
bell, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell and chamb-
ers and City "ttorney Norris responded. Commissioner Hargett
absent.
The minutes of the Hegular 1.Teeting of January 18th, 19269
were read and approved as read.
• An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
An ordinance providing for the issuance of Improvement Bonds
of the City of Salina, Kansas in the sum of x';130776.29 to pay
the cost of improving certain streets in said City.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the re -curbing and guttering of Seventh
Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from the north line of
k allnut Strec-t to the south line of Elm Street in said City, and
for excavating such part of said street and the removal of
old curbing and sidewalk as may be necessary to permit such
improvements, providing for the cost thereof,, how the same shall
b� assessed and manner of payment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
It An ordinance providing for the excavating, grading and surfacing
rich sand clay Thirteenth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas
from the north line of Union Pacific Righto-f-''.Jay to the south
line of Grand Avenue in said City and providing for the cost
thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of pay-
ment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
An ordinance providing for the graveling with sand clay type
surface of Baker street in the City of Salina, Kansas from
the south line of South Street to the north line of Mf-orrison
Avenue in said City, and providing for the cost thereof how the
same shall be assessed and the 'manner of payment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and surfacing with sand clay Lincoln Avenue_ in the
City of Salina, Kansas from the west line of iinnt�h Street to the
west line of 'Tenth Street in said City, and providing for the
cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and .the manner of
payment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
if An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving Crawford "venue in the City of Salina, Kansas
from the west line of Tenth Street to the east line of Eleventh
Street in said City, and providing for the cost thereof, hpw the
same shall be assessed and the manner of paymtne therefor._
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.

An ordinance was introduced for first' rear -ling entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the graveling with sand clay type
surface of Tenth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from the
north line of incoln venue to the south line of Grand Avenue
in said City, and providing for the cost thereof how Vhe same
shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing that certain land adjoining or touching
the limits of the City of Salina, consisting of certain platted
additions or sub -divisions be added, taken into and made a part
of the City of Salina, Kansas, and extending the City 11tits
of said City so as to include such added land, and repealing
all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance.'
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
On-rotion of Commissioner Chambers Board of Commissioners
adjourned.

touching the limits of the City of Salina, consisting of certain
platted additions or sub -divisions which have been sub -divided
into lots and blocks, and certain unplatted tracts of land
be added to, taken into and made parts of the City of Salina,
Kansas, and extending the City limits of said City so as to
include such added land, and repealing all ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordi-
nance."
