Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, January
18th, 1926. meeting was called to order by Mayor Iiargett,
the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Chambers and
Campbell and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January llth, 1926
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: An ordinance mak-
ing an appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoptibn the roll
was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett,
Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 3204.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance mak-
ing an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was hzd; Ayes: Hargett, Chambers
and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) 'The mayor approved the same and
is numbered 3205.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: An ordinance mak-
ing an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the folllowing vote was had: Ayes: Hargett,
Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The ITayor approved the
same and is numbered 3206.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance creating a Revolving Fund for the use of the
Superintendent of the Water �'dorks Department.►I
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett,
Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 3207.
City Engineer ,filed final estimate for curbing, guttering and
paving certain streets included in contract dated i4ovember 16th,
1925.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was approved bly�=the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance mak-
ing an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted b-,? sections and on its final adoption the roll wag
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Chamb-
ers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The 11ayor approved the same
and is numbered 3208.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for certain regulations for traffic and
the parking of vehicles in case of fires, defining certain
misdemeanros and providing a penalty for the violation of the
provisions of this ordinance.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:approved the
Chambers and Campbell. (3) Nays : (0)Mayor
same and is numbered 3209.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
