11-30-1925 Minutesi COINIMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING. COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. NOVEMBER 30th, 1925. Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November 30th, 1925. Meeting was called to order by Mayor' Hargett, the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Chambers and Campbell and City Attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 23rd, 1925 were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: I'An ordinance making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes." On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The ivla.yor approved the same and is numbered 3189. City Engineer submitted final estimate for Fall Paving Contract Number 1, dated September 23rd, 1925. On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was adopted by the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance mak- ing an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim. On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3190. A petition was presented asking for the excavating and graveling of Tdhth Street from the north line of Lincoln to the south line of Urand Avenue; also for the curbing, gut- tering, excavating, and graveling Lincoln Avenue from the west line of Ninth Street to the west line of Tenth Street. On motion, same i^zas referred to the City Manager. A petition was presented asking for the installation of a street light at the corner of State Street and Chicago Street. On motion, same was referred to the City Manager. L. W. Rexroad submitted Performance Bond, 11aintenance Bond and Statutory Bond for the construction of certain curbing, guttering and paving in --the City of Salina, Kansas. On motion, same were approved by the Board of Commis- sioners. City Manager recommended the installation of incandes- cent lights at the corner of Bishop and Phillips Street, also at the intersection of Chicago and state Streets. On motion, same were adopted by the Board of Commis- sioners. On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commis- sioners adjourned. City Clerk.
