NOVEMBER 16th, 1925.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November
16th, 1925. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hargett,
he roll was called and Commissioners 13argett, Chambers and
ampbell responded. City Attorney Norris absent.
The minutes of the Special Meeting of November 9th,
1925 and regular Meeting of November 9th, 1925 were read
and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had tt• Ayes:
Hargett, Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (01 Ordinance 3180.
City Engineers Paving Estimate Number 1, of Contract
1�umber 2, was presented and ordered filed.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "'An ordinance
making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim, rr
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Har-
gett, Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The es:
ap-
proved the same and is numbered 3181.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entit-
led: "An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying
special assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in
the City of Salina, Kansas to pay the cost of curbing and
guttering Baker Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from
the south line of SoutF Street to the north line of Morrison
`venue in said City, and relating to and providing for the
collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying speciil
assessments on certain lots and piecew of ground in the City
of Galina, Kansas to pay the cost of curbing and guttering
Twelfth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from the south
1 ne of"as�ton Avenue to the north line of Prescott
venue in said City, and relating to and prgviding for the
collection and payment of such assessments.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and. levying spe-
cial assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the
City of Salina, Kansas to pay the cost of curbing, guttering
and graveling Jewell tavenue in the City of Salina, Kansas
from the east line of Santa e Avenue to the west line of
Osborne Street in said City, and relating to and providing
for the collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying spe-
cial assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the
City of Salina, Kansas to pay the cost of curbing and gut-
tering Prescott Avenue in the City of Salina, Aansas from
the west line of Eleventh Street to the east line of Twelfth
Street ins aid City, and relating to and providing for the
collection and payment of such assessments.
On notion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.

and guttering Phillips Street in the City of Salina, Kansas
from the south line of Washington Avenue to the north line
of Morrison Avenue in Said City, and relating to ana providing
for the collection and payment of such assessments.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying
special assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in
the City of Salina, Kansas, to pay the cost of curbing,
guttering of Washington Avenue in the City of Salina, Kansas,
from the east line of Phillips Street to the west line of
Eleventh Street ins aid City, and relating to and providing
for the collection and payment of such assessments.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
A resolution was introduced for first reading providing
for the graveling of Thirteenth Street from north line of
UnionPacific Righty -of -way to Grand Avenue.
On motion, same was referred to the Board of Commis-
sioners.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned. -,
