''`egular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November
9th, 1925. Meeting was called to order by IiLayor rgett,
the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Chambers and
Campbell and City `attorney N tris responded.
The minutes of the special meeting of November 2nd, 1925;
and ''regular Meeting of November 2nd, 1925 were read and ap-
proved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be used
and letting a contract for the curbing and guttering of Third
Street from the south line ,of Iron Avenuei,south to the Smoky
Rill River, in the City of Galina, Kansas.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had • Ages nargett,
Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) e 'l yor approved
the same and is numbered 3177.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be
used and letting a contract for the excavating and grading and
surfacing with sand clay Prescott venue in the City of Salina,
Kanas from the west line o lgventh treet to the east line
bf Twelfth 6treet in said City.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final a doptifin the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: argett, Chamb-
ers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0 The payor approved the same
and is numbered 3178.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be used
and le tting a contract for the excavating and grading, curb-
ing, guttering and paving Thirteenth Street from the south
line of Ash Street to t�e north line of tate Street in the
City of Oalina, Kansas.

On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
and the following vote was had; Ayes* nargett, Chamb-

ers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The glayor approved the
same and is numbered 3179.
Bond of R. J. Paulette as City Engineer of the City
of aalina, Kansas was received and ordered filed.
Mayor Hargett appointed C. H. Gawthrop as a member of
the Board of Trustees of the Salina Municipal Band for a term
of three years beginning November 6th, 1925.

On motion of Commissioner Campbell the appointment was
confirmed.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell Fire Chief was given
authority to extend the time for burning leaves from 7:00 A.M.
to 7:00 P. M. from November 15th, 192t to December 15th, 1925.
inclusive.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
