SEPTEMBER 14th, 1925.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Septem-
ber 14th, 1925. Meeting was called to order by Mayor
Hargett, the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett,
Chambers and Campbell responded. City Attorney Norris ab-
sent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 8th,
1925 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the issuance of Improvement Bonds
of the City of Salina, Kansas in the sum of X7517.04 to pay
the cost of improving certain streets in said City.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Har-
gett, Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor ap-
proved the same and is numbered 3161.
A resolution was introduced for first reading providing
for the curbing, guttering and paving Crawford Avenue from
the west line of Tenth Street to the east line of 1:11e,7 nth
Street."
On mDtion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
A petition was presented asking for the location of an
arc light at the corner of Fourth Street and Mulberry
Street.
On motion same was referred to the City Manager.
A petition was presented protesting against the con-
struction of a store building at 711 South Fifth Street.
Same was referred to the City Manager.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
