31st, 1925. Yeeting was called to order by IIhyor Hargett, the
roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Chambers and Campbell
and City Attorney Norris responded,
The minutes of the Regular I:iee t ing of August 24th, 19259
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: i`An ordinance making
ff
appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Chambers
and Campbell (3) Nays:,/ (0) The 14ayor approved the same and
is numbered 3154.
Taxi bond of Lee Churchman was presented and referred to
the City Attorney.

A remonstrance was presented against the re -curbing and
guttering of Seventh Street from iaialnut Street to Elm Street.
Same was referred to the City manager.
Bids for the curbing, guttering and paving of certain
streets as advertised for were received from:
L. "J. Rexroad, Salina, �-ansas.
'Erickson Construction Co. , Lindsborg, Kansas.
Snyder & T-Teilert, 'k' ichita, Kansas.
Fred F. Eberhardt, Salina, Kansas.
On motion, contract was awarded to L. s'1. Rexroad as per
',is rid submitted, and certified checks returned to unsuccessful
bidders. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be used
and letting a contract for the curbing and guttering of Baker
Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from the south line of ��
South Street to the north line of Morrison Avenue in said City.

On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of ConmIssioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be used
and letting a contract for the curbing and guttering of Phillips
Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, from the south line of
asshington z1venue to the north line of ISorrison Avenue in said
City."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, same was referred to the
! Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be used
and letting a contract for the curbing and guttering Prescott
Avenue in the City of Salina, Kansas, from the west line of
�5 eventh Street to the east line of Twelfth Street in said
City."
On :notion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.

On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
I-ayor Hargett appointed VI. S. Frey, C. J. neck and Clarence
Swearingen to act as aplr aisers in ascertaining the valuation
of certain lots and pieces of land on which to base the cost of
curbing and guttering:

On motion of Cornnissioner Chambers the appointments Viere
confimred by the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, Board of Coniiission-
ers ad jounred until Tuesday, September Oth, 1925 at 5:00 P. I.%
on account of Monday, September 7th, 1225 being Labor Dom.
