the roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Campbell,
and Chambers and City Z,%.ttorrey Norris responded.
The minutes of the 1regular T,Feeting of June 29th, 1925
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: An ordinance
defining a certain misdemeanors and providing a penalty
for the violation thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the follolvin vote was had; Ayes:
Hargett, Chambers and Campbell 3) Nays: (0) The "ayor
approved the same and 3.s numbered 3124.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"tin ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be
used and letting a contract for the re -curbing and guttering
of Santa Fe Avenue in,the City of Salina, "ansas , prom the
south line of °alnut Street to the north line of Mulberry
Street in said --'City."'
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance vans
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett,
Chambei,s and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The =°'ayor approved the
same and is numbered 3125.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"=n ordinance specifying and selecting the paving material to
be used and letting a contract for the excavating, grading
and paving t' e alb running north and south between Santa Fe
Avenue and Seventh Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, from
the south line of 'ialnut Street, south 225 feet in said.

"An ordinance specifying and selecting the material to be
used. and letting a contract for the curbing and guttering of
Cedar Street n the City of Salina, Kansas from the west line
of Fl -fillips Street to the east line of College r,venue in said
City. if
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had; ryes: Hargett,
Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (0) The -'rayon approved the
same and is numbered 3127.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance specifying and selecting the paving material
to be used and letting a contract for the excav^ting, grading
and paving Second 'street in the City of Salina, Kansas from
the south line of :alnut Strect to the north line of ILIulberrlr
Street in said City -11
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll =as
called and the following vote was had; -lyes: Hargett , Chamb-
ers and Campbell (3) Days: (0) The !:'ayor approved the same
and is numbered 3128.
Commissioner Chambers moved that the 11ayor and City
Clerk be authorized to sign contract between L. '!. Rexroad
and City of Salina with reference to certain curbing and
guttering and paving under date of June 22nd, 1925. I -lotion
adopted.

L. 'i. Rexroad presented his Performance and Statutory
Bond in reference to certain curbing and guttering and paving
included in contract dated June 22nd, 1925. Same was approved
by the Board of Commissioners.
A res olution was introduced for first reading providing
for the curbing and guttering of Third Street_from Iron Avenue
south to the Smoky Hill ivcr.
On motion of Col-nissioner L'hambers same was referred to
the Board of Connissioners.
City Manager Layton recommeneed that an incandescent
light be placed at the corner ,of 'Milson Street and Fourth
Street; also at College Avenue and South Street.
A petition was received asking for the curbing, gut-
tering and graveling of Harsh Street from 6arta ye Avenue
to Ninth Street. Sarae vias referred t o the City Ihnager.
Applications for Pool Hall L1cense for the last half
of 1925 were received from:

On motion of Commissioner Campbell licenses were grant-
ed.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, , Board. of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
