COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.

JUNE 15th2 1925.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners June 15th, 1925.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hargett, the roll was called
and Commissioners Hargett and Chambers and City Attorney Norris
responded. Commissioner Campbell absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 8th, 1925, were
read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled�i "An ordinance making
appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett and Chamb-
ers (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. The 4a.yor ap-
proved the same and is numbered 3119.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance granting Union Pacific Railroad Company, its suc-
cessors anct assigns the right to construct, maintain and operate
a standard gauge railroad track over and across an unnamed street
between Blocks 5 and 6 in Depot Addition, and over and across
the east and wrest alley in Block 5 in Depot Addition, and upon
and along the north and south alley in Block 5 in Depot Addition,
all in the City of Salina, Kansas.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, and
Chambers (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. The
Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3120.
City Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for the
sale of Paving Improvement Bonds in the amount of $12,189.42,
bids to be received up to and including Monday, June 29th, 1925
at 4:00 P. M.
City Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for the
curbing, guttering and paving of certain streets in the City of
Salina, Kansas, bids to be received up to and including Monday,
June 22nd, 1925 at 4:00 P. M.
A petition -was presented asking for the curbing and gutter-
ing of Phillips gutter -
6 in the City of Salina from Morrison Avenue
to Washington Avenue. Same was referred to the City Manager.
Apetition was presented asking for the curbing and gutter-
ing of -
Avenue from Eleventh Street to Phillips
Street. Same was referred to the City Manager.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
