COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
a COMMISS IONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JUNE 1st, 1925.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June
1st, 1925. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Hargett,
the roil was called and Commissioners Hargett, Chambers
and Campbell responded. City Attorney Norris absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 25th, 1925,
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was hadtt• Ayes:
Hargett, Chambers and Campbell (3) Nays: (O1 The Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 3115.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the issuance of Improvement Bonds
of the City of Salina, Kansas in the sum of 0129189.42 to pay
the cost of improving Fifth Street from the north line of
44alnut Street to the south line of Ash Street in said City."

On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its rinal adoption the
roll was called and the followi vote was had; Ayes:
Hargett., Chambers and Campbell �3 ) Nays: (0 ) The ' ayor
approved the same and is numbered 3116.
The following resolution was introduced for second read-
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the construction of certain side-
walks in the City of Salina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Salina, Kansas, that the curbing, guttering and
graveling of Jewell Avenue in the City of Salina, Kansas, from
the east line o Santa a venue to the west line of Osborne
Avenue in said City be and the same is hereby determined to
be a necessary improvement, and that said Jewell Avenue be
curbed, guttered and gravelled within the limits above defined
in the manner provided by law.
Introduced for first reading, May 25th, 1925.
Adopted and approved -------- June lst, 1925.

adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Chambers and
Campbell (3 ) Nays: (0 )

On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to
