Contractors, Bond from Alfred Lindgren, with reference to Bathing Pavilion in Oakdale Park .,ras presented, and on motion of Commissioner Chambers same was approved by the Board of Com- missioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: An ordinance relating to the apportioning and levying special assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina, Kansas to pay the cost of re -curbing guttering; and re- paving Fifth Street in the City of Salina, Iansas from the north line of %alnut Street to the south line of Asx: Street in said City, and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of such assess --cats." Street, directly north of Union Facific railroad "Tracks. Same .,was referred to the City Planning Commission. A petition was received asking for the location of a curb pamnp at the Center ':)treet Grocery.
