Regular Meeting of the Board of Carnissioners, February
2nd, 1925. eeting was called to order by 1.1ayor iiar�ett, the
roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Dyar and Chambers
and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 26th,
1925 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.
On motion of Comtni ssioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll aas
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: !Targett, Dyar
and Chambers (3) Nays: (0) The a.yor approved the same and
is numbered 3063.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance Number 271 of the
City of Salina, entitled, "An ordinance to provide for the col-
lection of fines, "and repealing said original section of
Ordinance Number 271."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the f ollovtign vote was had,; Ayes: Hargett, dyar
and Chambers (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3064.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance repealing certain ordinances of the City of
Salina, Kansas."
On ;Notion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Dyar and
Chambers (3) Nays: (0) The Layor approved the same and is
numbered 3065.
A petition was presented asking for the location of a
Filling; Station at the corner of Seventh and fish Street in the
City of Salina, Kansas. .game was referred to the City Plan-
ning Commission.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance amending Section 2 of Ordinance Ilumber 933 of the
City of Salina, Kansas, being an ordinance defining certain
misdemeanors and repealing original section 2 of said Ordinance."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same «ra.s referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
An ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordingnance dumber 3037
being an ordinance regulating vehicle traffic on certain streets
and designating certain streets and parts thereof as arterial
highways, and repealing said original section 1.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance ordering the compliation, revision, classifica-
tion and publishing of the ordinances of the City of Salina.
On motion of Commissioner Cif -ambers same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance defining the boundaries and limits of the City
of Jalina, Kansas,
On motion of Commissioner Dyar same was referred to the

An ordinance was introduced for first reacting entitled:
"An ordinance repealing Ordinance number 2463 entitled, IAn
ordinance regulating the handling and. sale of dairy products
in the City of Salina, Kansas and providing a penalty for the
violation thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
A resolution ,ias introduced for first reading concerning
I of Union Pacific "ailroad Company and City of Salina, _an-
sas, relative to right -of -gray on Fourth Street between Prescott
venue and Claflin Avenue.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Co=iissi oner Dyar, Board of Cornissioners
adjourned.
