.4gular m=eeting of the Board of Commissioners , December
15th, 1924. Meeting was called to order by '1ayor iIargett, the
roll was called and Commissioners Hargett, Dyar and Chambers
and city Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular L!eeting of December Sth, 1924,
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: An Ordinance making
appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the folloviin� vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Dyar and Chamb-
ers (3) Nays: 0) The 'mayor approved the same and is numbered
3051.
City Engineer submitted Estimate 1 umber Two (2) for the
re -curbing, guttering and re -paving Fifth Street from �sjalnut
Street to Ash Street, and on motion of Commissioner Chambers 1
same was approved by the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim."
On motion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett, Dyar and Chamb-
ers. (3) Nays: (0) The ;Eayor approved the same and is num-
bered 3052.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance regulating the operation of vehicles on certain
streets and at certain intersections in the City of Salina
Kansas, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof.'
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hargett and
Chambers (2) Nays: Dyar (1) The i'iyor approved the same and
is numbered 3053.
An ordinance .was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance repealing certain ordinances of the City of Jalina,
Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Dyar same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
tlayor Hargett appointed Taylor !N ller as City dVeighmaster
of Salina, Kansas.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar the appointment was con-
firmed.
On motion of Commissioner Dyar, Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
