Fleeting was called to order by Acting l,,ayor Dyar, the roll was called and Commissioners Dyar and Chambers and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner jiargett absent. The minutes of the Regular I'i=eeting of December 1st, 1924, were read and approved as read. .An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance establishing regulations for the safety of the public and of drivers and occupants of certein vehicles, and regulating the use of certain vehicles upon and in the public streets, alleys and thoroughfares of the City of alma, Kansas for the purpose of securing the safety of the public and of the drivers and occupants of such vehicles. On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read 1 and adopted by sections and on its final adoption.the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes Dyar and Chambers (2 ) Nays: (0 ) Commissioner j''argett absent. Acting -�'ayor Dyar approved the same and is numbered 3049. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance prohibiting the sweeping or depositing of sut, dirt, papers, sweepings or other refuse from the interior of any store, office or other buildings or part thereof in the Cit; of alina upon or in any public sidewalk, street or alley in said City, and providing a penalty for the violation of this i ordinance. On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes, Dyar and Chambers (2 ) i4ays : (0 ) Commissioner Hargett absent. Acting T,�ayor Dyar approved the same and is numbered 3050. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance regulating the operation of vehicles on certain streets and at certain intersections in the City of Oalina,, Kansas, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof. On motion of Commissioner Chambers same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. On motion of Commissioner Chambers, Board of Commission- ers adjourned. I i .tr G t e r City 1
