COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOMY
SALINA, KANSAS.
AUGUST 18, 1930.

s Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners,. August 18,
1930. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Dodds, the roll
was called and Commissioners Dodds and Stevenson responded. Com-
missioner Helvering and City Attorney Norris absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 11, 1930, were
read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance appro-
priating $21,966.27 in payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Stev enson the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds and Stevenson
(2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 3948.
An ordinance wasintroducedfor second reading entitled: "An
ordinance vacating certain streets and alleys in the City of Salina."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
I and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson and Dodds (2)
I Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 3949.
A petition was presented asking for the curbing and gutter-
ing of Pacific Avenue from the west side of Santa Fe Avenue to
Ithe wes�� side of Twelfth Street; also for the curbing and gutter-
ing of welfth Street from the north line of Pacific Avenue to the
north side of North Street in the City of Salina, Kansas. Same
was ordered filed.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
