COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JULY 140 1930.
Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, July 14,
1930. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll
was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson and
City Attorney Norris responded.
The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of
woodland Avenue from Santa Fe Avenue to Seventh Street was taken
up and read as ollows:

We, John Frederick, C. W. Fielder and E. D. Martin, being
duly and severally sworn according to law each for himself, does
hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property
liable to special assessment for the cost of curbing and guttering
Woodland Avenue from the west line of Santa Fe Avenue to the east
line of Seventh Street, as more particularly described and provided
for in Ordinance No. 3911 of the City of Salina, Kansas; and that
each of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true
and impartial appy aisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutt-
ing on such respective street as above mentioned, without regard to
the buildings or improvements thereon, for the distance to be
improved, as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners
in the ordinance above mentioned. So help us God.

Commissioner Dodds moved that the appraisers report for curbing
and guttering Woodland Avenue from Santa. Fe AveniB to Seventh Street
be adopted as amended. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
