Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June 27, 1930.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was called
t and Commissioners Helvering and Stevenson responded. Commissioner

Dodds and City Attorney Norris absent.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
".yn ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special
assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of
Salina to pay the cost of paving Center Street from the west line

of Fifth Street to entrance to KenwoodParkthe City of Salina,
Kansas, and relating to and providing for the collection and pay-
ment of such assessments.'
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to andaportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in -the City of Salina
to pay the cost of curbing, guttering and paving Columbia Avenue
from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of Iron Avenue
in the City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing for
the collection and payment of such assessments."
! On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the

the west line of Highland Avenue to the east line of Ninthreet

collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina
to pay the cost of curbing, guttering and paving Highland Avenue
from the south line of Claflin Avenue to the norTE line o Cloud
Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing
for the collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Stevensonsame was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina to
pay the cost of curbing, guttering and paving Park place from the
west line of Oakdale Avenue to tl;e east line of OWMale-715rive in the
City a Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing for the col-
lection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners*
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina to
pay the cost of paving unpaved portion of Santa Fe -41venue from the
north line of Lincoln Avenue to the south e o ars reet in the
City of Salinap Kansas, and relating to and providing for the col-
lection and payment of such assessments."

City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to it and providing for the col-
lection and payment of such assessments.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.

An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina to
Rthe cost of paving Third Street from the south line of Iron
Avenue, south to the Smo Hill in the City of Salina, Kansas,
and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of such
assessments."
Oh motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina
to pay the cost of curbing, guttering and paving Washington Avenue
from the west line of TenthStreet to the east line o3`_2'ieven_F_
Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing
for the collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commissioners
