COMMISSICNERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
MARCH 25, 1930.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners 14'arch 25,
1930. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll
was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson
responded. City Attorney Norris absent.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the issuance of Improvement Bonds of
the City of Salina, Kansas, in the sum of $34,287.75 to pay the
cost of repairing and reconstructing a certain part of a certain
sewer in the City of Salina, and repealing Ordinance No. 3844
passed and approved lurch 12, 1930.'
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Dodds
and Stevenson (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 3860.
Commissioner Stevenson moved that the City 10tanager confer
with the Secretary of the Chamber of Connerce in reference to the
painting of the third floor of the City Building, the City to paint
the hall and assembly room. Motion adopted.
Trust Beed was received from David Reese, estate, with a
deposit of $93.75.
Commissioner Dodds moved that same be accepted and filed,
and that the City Treasurer be instructed to place the deposit
in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery Endowment Fund as provided by
Ordinance No. 3530 of the City of Salina. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
