COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS
NOVEMBER 25th, 1929.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November
25th, 1929. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Stevenson
and Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 18th,
1929 were read and approved as read.
The report of commissioners in the matter of the con-
demnation by the City of Salina, Kansas, of certain private
property for the purpose of widening Ohio Street in said City
from the south line of Gypsum Avenue to the south City limits at
the intersection of Ohio Street and Greeley Avenue, was received
and ordered filed.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance creating and defining certain Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Districts in the City of Salina designated as 1,ateral Sani-
tary Sewer Districts No. 153 and 157, and providing for the con-
struction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers in the Districts created;
providing for the cost thereof and for the levy of special
assessments for the payment of the costs thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Dodds and
Stevenson (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is num-
bered 3812.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
