COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS,
NOVEMBER 5th, 1929.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November
5th, 1929. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Dodds,
the roll was called and Commissioners Dodds and Otevenson and
City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Helvering absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 4th, 1929
were read and approved as read.
Van1s Replat of part of Block 1, Fairview Addition was
submitted, same having been approved by the City Planning Commis-
sion.
Commissioner Jtevenson moved that said plat be approved
by the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the vacation of certain alleys in
Block No. 5 and Block No. 10 in Depot Addition to Salina, Kan-
sas* rr
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
Commissioner Stevenson moved that permission be granted
to L. C. Heck and Badger Produce Company to erect an electric
sign in front of their store buildings. Motion carried.
Band contract for the year 1930 was received and same was
approved and ordered filed by the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
