COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
OCTOBER 2nd, 1929.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, October
2nd, 1929. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and
Stevenson and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 30th,
1929 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance mak-
ing appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Dodds
and Stevenson (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 3788.
City Engineer submitted Final Estimate for Storm sewers
i numbered 9, 10, 11, 12, 15 and 16. On motion of Commissioner
Stevenson same was approved by the Board of Commissioners.

I An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance authorizing and providing for the issuance of
Improvement Bonds of the City of Salinas Kansas in the sum of
j $141,671.07, to pay the cost of constructing certain storm
I sewers in said City."

On notion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
