06-04-1929 Minutes-1" VrWV COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING. COMMISSIONERS ROOM SALINA, KANSAS. JUNE 4th., 1929. Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June 4th, 1929. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was called and Commissioners Helverings Stevenson and Dodds responded. City Attorney Norris absent. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the construction of a certain storm sewer in the City of Salina to be designated as Storm Sewer Number 12, and providing for the issuing of improvement bonds to pay the cost thereof and repealing Sections 2 and 4 of Ordinance No. 3672 relating to the construction of certain storm sewers." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helverihg. Dodds and Stevenson (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the sane and is numbered 3724. Airport Committee reported that they had a request from two companies wishing to construct hangars and. use the ground, and would like to secure a permit for the same. On notion of Commissioner Stevenson the City Attorney was instructed to draft the permits giving them a permit for two years with such provisions that he deem proper at an annual rental of $1.00 per year. Motion carried. On motion of Commissioner Dodds the Board of Commissioners adjourned.. CfEy Clerk. COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS ROOM., SALINAY KANSAS. JUNE 6th, 1929. Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June 6th, 1929. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson and City Attorney Norris responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 4th, 1929 were read and approved as read. City Engineer filedlans and specifications and preliminary estimate of cost of Storm gewer No. 12 as provided for by Ordinance No. 3724. On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the same were adopted, and the City Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids to be received up to and including Monday. June 10th, 1929 at 12:00 noon., together with bids for Storm Sewer No. 16 as previously authorized. Motion carried. On motion of Commissioner Dodds the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
