Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, May 24th,
1929. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll_
was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson and
City Attorney Norris responded.
City Engineer filed plans and specifications end estimate of
cost for the curbing, guttering and paving of
Eleventh Street from Crawford Avenue to Frost Street;
Oakaale DrIve, from Walnut Street to entrance to Oakdale Park;
Tenth 6treef-Trom Elm Street to Bishop Street;
G sum Avenue from Ohio Avenue to Delaware Street;
Fifth from Elm btreet to North zitreet;
ColuYrbia Avenue from Johnstown Avenue to Ash Street;
j Elevenree�from Ash Z)treet to Park Street;
onnec duct Avenue from Iron Avenue to Stapler Avenue;
For the curbing and guttering of:
Phillips Street from Washington Avenue to Prescott Avenue;
Wilson. �treFt from Ninth Street to Seitz Street;
For the paving:

Alley lying between Santa Fe Avenue and Sev enth Street, from
Mulberry Street north to a point 225 feet south of south line of
uvalnut Street; also for
the construction of part of Stora Sewer Number Twelve.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the above mentioned plans
and specifications and estimate of cost were received and filed,
definite action on same to be taken May 27th, 1929. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construction
I of Storm Sewer Number 15, in the City of Salina, and providing for
the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the
issuance and sale of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final a doption the roll was called
and the followir vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Dodds and Steven-
son (3) Nays: 0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3717.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the construction of a certain storm sewer
in the City of Salina to be designated as otorm hewer Number 16, and
providing for the issuing of improvement bonds to pay the cost there-
of ."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
