COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, CANVASSING BOARD.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
MAY 24th, 1929.
BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this Friday evening, May 24th, 1929,
the Board of Commissioners met as a Board of Canvassers, (ex -officio)
as provided by law, to canvass the vote cast at the Special School
Bond Election, held in Salina, Kansas, May 21st, 1929.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was
called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson and City
Attorney Norris responded.
The returns of the Special Election were presented by the
City Clerk and opened by the Mayor in the presence of the Commission-
ers assembled, duly canvassed and the result declared, and the City
Clerk was directed by vote of the board to spread upon the Journal
the result of the canvass which is done as follows:

On motion of Connniss Toner Dodds the report and findings of the
Canvassing Board were received and ordered spread upon the records.
On motion of Corrnissioner Stevenson the Board of Commissioners
