APRIL 17th, 1929.
Regular meeting of the Board. of Commissioners, April 17th,
1929. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll
was called and Commissioners Helvering and Dodds responded. Commis-
sioner btevenson and City Attorney Norris absent.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
" An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of
Columbia Avenue from the north line of Johnstown Avenue to the
south line of Ash Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how
the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. The mayor approved the
same and is numbered 3692.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of
GypsumAvenuefrom the east line of OhioSt<reet to the west line of
Delaware Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same
shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. The ilayor approved the
same and is numbered 3693.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of
Eleventh Street from the North line of Ash Street to the south line
Park ree , and providing for the cost thereof, hove the same
shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. The Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 3694.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the paving of the alley running north and
south between, and parallel with Santa ke Avenue and Seventh L)treet
from the north line of Mulberry btreet north to a point 225 feet
south of the south line of 7alnut Street connecting with the paved
portion of the alley at that point, and providing for the cost there-
of and how the same shall be asessed and the manner of payment
therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2) Nays: (0)
Commissioner Stevenson absent. The Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 3695.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
resolution relating to the curbing and guttering of the south side
of Jewell `venue from the west line of Ninth Street, west one block
to a point opposite the intersection of the east line of Highland Cir-
cle with Jewell Avenue and for the graveling of said Jewell Avenue
between such limits."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was adopted as
read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote was had; Ales Helvering and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commission-
erStevenson absent. The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 470.

A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and paving of Connecticut
Avenue from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line--o-f-
Stap`Ier Av enue ."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2) Nays: (0)
Cormlissioner Stevenson absent. The Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 471.

A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and paving of Oakdale
Drive from the south line of Walnut Street south to the entrance of
Oa c aTe Park."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2) flays: (0)
Commissioner Stevenson absent. The Mayor approved the same and is num-
bered 472.

A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
resolution relating to the curbing, guttering and paving of Eleventh
Street from the south line of Crawford Street to the north line
ofl�rost Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was adopted as
read and on its final adoption the roll was called.and the following
vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commission-
er Stevenson absent. The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 473.

A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A
resolution relating to, the curbing and guttering of Phillips street
from the south line of Washington Avenue to the nortFline of Prescott
Avenue."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was adopted as
read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commission-
er Stevenson absent. The Mayor approved the same and is numbered
474.

On motion of Commissioner Dodds the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
