COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM..
SALINA, KANSAS.
JANUARY 7th, 1929.
Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, January 7th,
29, for the purpose of hearing any complaints that might be made
to the valuation placed on certain lots and pieces of ground on
ich to base the cost of constructing Main Sanitary Sewers "P"
i "Q", and lateral sanitary sewers 14:5-146-148-150-152 and 155.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was
Iled and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell and Dodds and City
Corney Norris responded.
The appraisers report for the construction of Main Sanitary
Sewer "P" was taken up and read as follows:

We, John Frederick, E. D. Martin and Ralph A. Smith, being
duly and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does
hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property
liable to special assessment for the cost of constructing Main
Sanitary Sewer "P", in said City, as more particularly described and
provided for in Ordinance 3567 of the City of Salina, Kansas; and that
each of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true
and impartial appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abut-
ting on such respective street as above described, without regard to
the buildings or improvements thereon, for the distance to be im-
proved as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners in the
ordinance above mentioned. So help us God.

We, John Frederick, E. D. Martin and Ralph A. Smith, being duly
and severally sworn according to law, each for himself does hereby
solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable
to special assessment for the cost of constructing lateral sanitary
sewer 155 in said City, as more particularly described and provided for
in Ordinance 3607 of the City of Salina, Kansas; and that each of us
will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial
appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such re-
spective street as above described, without regard to the buildings or
improvements thereon, for the distance to be improved as set forth and
designated by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above men-
tioned. So help us God.
