SALINA, KANSAS.
NOVSMBER 13th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November
13th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell and
Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 5th,
1928 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled; "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.11
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Camp-
bell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3617.
An ordinance was introduced for reading entitled: "An
ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim. 11
Onmotion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final:adoptionthe
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Hel-
vering, Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor ap-
proved the same and is numbered 3618.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3541, being
an ordinance relating to the moving of houses or other build-
ings in the City of Salina."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A Resolution relating to the sanding of Euclid Avenuefrom
the west line of Fifth Street to the east line o i
Nint Street."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, the Board of Com-
missioners adjourned.
