OCTOBER 29th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, October
29th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the
roll was called and Commissioners Helvering and Dodds and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Campbell absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 22nd, 1928
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3612.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final a ab ption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3613.
R. A. Rearwin ap1m ared before the Board of Commissioners and
asked for a permit to alter an existing building on the south 25
feet of Lot 25 and the North one-half, of Lot 27, Santa Fe Avenue,
Original Town.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds permit was approved by the
Board of Commissioners.
Mayor Helvering appointed the following Judges and Clerks
for the General Election of November 6th, 1928:

On motion of Commissioner Dodds the appointments were.
confirmed by the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance amending Section 2 (creating and defining Main
Sewer District 110,11) of Ordinance No. 3567 being an ordinance
E creating and defining certain main sewer districts in the City
of 'alina designated as Main Sewer District "P" and "0, ate.,
adopted July 2nd, 1928, and repealing original Section 2 of
said ordinance."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the Board of Commissioners
adjourned
