COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS
AUGUST 27th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, August
27th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor
Campbell the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell and
Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
Helvering absent.
the minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 20th, 1928
and Regular Meeting of August 21st, 1928 were read and approved
as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:'
"An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the
building and construction of a certain main sanitary sewer in
Main Sewer District "P" and a Sewage Pumping Station, and for
the construction of certain lateral sanitary sewers in Lateral
Sanitary Sewer Districts No. 143, 146, 148 and 150 and providing
for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof
pending issuance and sale of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes. Campbell and
Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting
Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3598.
Commissioner Dodds moved that a Regular Meeting be held
August 29th, 1928 at 5:00 P. M. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds, Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
