03-22-1943 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS room, SALINA, KANSAS. MARCH 22, 1943. Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners March 22, 1943. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Com- missioners Morgenstern, Breon and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Ferm absent and Commissioner Branson deceased. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 15, 1943 were read and ap- proved as read. Applications for taxicab drivers license for the year 1943 received as follows: Richard Lyle Rose Bill Watson Commissioner Price moved that applications be approved and license granted. Motion adopted. Commissioner Breon moved that the action taken by the Board of Com- missioters on February 22, 1943, rejecting ap licat ion for the sale of cereal malt beverages, received from H. R. McCoy d7/a Tip Top Tavern at 316 East Pacific Street be rescinded and set aside, and that application b e approved by the Board of Commissioners and license granted. Motion adopted. Application received from Fred Clar, d/b/a Uptown Bar at 216 West Ash Street, for the sale of Cereal Malt Beverages, presented to t he Board of Commissioners March 15th, 1943, was again taken up by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Breon moved that application be approved and license granted. Motion adopted. On motion of Commissioner Breon the Board of Commissioners adjourned., to meet in regular session March 31, 1943. City Clart
