FEBRUARY 8, 1943. --
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 8, 1943. Meeting
was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners
Morgenstern, Breon and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
Ferm absent and Commissioner Branson deceased.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 1, 1943 were read and approved
as read.
Commissioner Breon moved that the Bus Company be required to furnish
certificate showing that their liability insurance policy covers limits up to
$100,000.00 in accordance with their policy. Motion adopted.
Applica tions for taxicab drivers license for the year 1943 received as
follows:

J. L. Ray
Loris Griest
C. L. Dye
Commissioner Breon moved that applications be approved and license granted.
Motion adopted.
A communication was received from Chief of Police, D. K. Fitch, recommending;
the revocation of taxicab drivers License No. 27, issued to Harry Hickman, January
12th, 1943. Commissioner Price moved that license be revoked. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance relating to license
taxes on certain coin operated amusement devices, and defining certain provisions of
Ordinance No. 5022." Ordinance was referred tot he Board of Commissioners.
Applications for Cereal Malt Beverage License for the year 1943 received
as follows:

Commissioner Breon moved that application be rejected by the Board of Com-
missioners. Motion adopted.
City Clerk reported that the DeLuxe Cab Company and Bell Cab Company had
filed in his office Liability Insurance Policies in $5,000.00$10,000.00 and
$1,000.00 limits as ordered by the Board of Commissioners, covering all DeLuxe
taxicabs licensed and Bell taxicabs licensed, except Cab Number 24, W. B. Memickle ,
owner and Cab Number 25, J. E. Hull, owner. Commissioner Price moved that
policies filed be approved, and that the owners of taxicabs No. 24 and 25 be ordered to
file policies with required liability limits, as ordered by the Board of Commission-
ers, not later than February 15th, 1943 at 4:30 P. M. or that, -their license be
revoked. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Breon the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
