NOVEMBER 26, 1941.
Regular Yeeting of the Board of Commissioners November 28, 1941. Meeting
was called to order by Vayor 'forgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners
Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and Price and City Attorney AJorris responded. Com-
missioner Ferm absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 17, 1941 were read and ap-
proved as read.
Application for taxicab drivers license for the balance of 1941 received
from:
John 9uchenau
Commissioner Branson moved that application be approved and license
granted. Motion adopted.
Application was received from J. E. Hull asking for the transfer of
Taxicab License No. 5, (1940 Dodge Sedan, Serial No. 4353050, Motor No. D14-14556)
from City Cab Company to DeLuxe Cab Company. Commissioner Branson moved that
application be approved by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
Application was received from Jack Sprecker of the Bell Maxi Company asking
for the transfer of Taxicab License ho. 9 from 1939 Plymouth Sedan, `'erial No.
10747990, Motor Number P8-213066 to 1942 Plymouth Sedan, Serial No. 20152421,
Motor No. P-14-20299. Commissioner Write moved that application be approved by
the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
Mr. Chas. Bren and Dr. Porter Brown of the Chamber of Commerce, appeared
before the Board of Commissioners and presented the proposition for the creating
of a Health Council for the City. Commissioner Branson moved that the
Commissioners approve the proposition. Motion adopted.
Aloved by Commissioner -Price that a proposal to place Lots 169, 171 and
the north 27 feet of Lot 173 on Eighth Street, Original Town, in the "C" Commercial
District, under the Zoning Ordinance, be referred to the City Planning Commission
for their recommendation to the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Breon the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
