Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners November 3, 1941. 1Jeeting was called to order by ?;,'ayor 'viorgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners Porn,enstern, Branson, Creon and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Commis- sioner Ferm absent. The minutes of the Ref'ular �4eeting of October 28, 1941 and Regular Yeeting of October 31, 1941 were read and approved as read. Taxicab drivers application received from. Clarence Rov.son, Octoher 28, 1941, was again taken up by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Branson moved that application be rejected. lJotion adopted. Application for taxicab license for the year 1941 received as follows: Name of Operator Name of Owner Taxicab Number DeLuxe Cab Company Leo R. Lambeth 0. Commissioner Branson moved that application be approved and license granted, subject to inspection of taxicab by Building Inspector. T�,Iotion acb pted. A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relating; to the construction of certain sidewalks in the City of Salina." On motion of Commissioner Branson the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Itiorgenstern, Branson. Breon and Price (4) Trays (U) Commissioner Perm absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it is numbered 814. The above resolution is recorded in full on Pages 156 to 189 inclusive, Resolution Book Number 3. Commissioner Breon moved that the contract for City Audit for 1941 be awarded to Dewey 1'. Turner the lowest bidder at a cost of $'775.00, and that a contract for the work be prepared by the City Attorney. Ayes: A.org,enstern, Breon and Price (3) Pays: Rramson (1) Com^nissioner term absent. On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk
