Meeting was called to order by Mayor Liorgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners fl,:orgenstern, Branson, Breon and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Com- missioner Ferm absent. The minutes of the Regular '_'ti;eet ing of October 6, 1941 were read and ap- proved as read. An ordinance tvas introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Branson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Norgenstern, Branson, Breon and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commis- sioner Ferro absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-131. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Price the ordinance was read and adopted by sec- tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Morgenstern, Branson, Breon and Price (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Ferro absent. Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-132. Mrs. George i". Smith asked for permission to transfer Beer License Number 7381 from 813 North Santa Fe 316 East Pacific. On motion of Commissioner Price permission was granted. Motion adopted. Application for Tool Hall License for the last half of 1941 received as follows: George holzmeister, 116 S. Fifth Street Commissioner Branson moved that application be approved and license granted. 1',iotion adopted. Application for taxicab license for the balance of 1941 received as follows: Name of Operator Bell Cab Company Name of Owner F. E. Cables Cab Number Eel Commissioner Price moved thvt application be approved subject to the inspection of cab by Building Inspector. Motion adopted. On motion of Commissioner Price the Roard of Commissioners adjourned to meet in regular session Yrednesday, October 15th at twelve o'clock noon. City Clerk
