Regular Meeting of the Board of Conmiissioners September 22, 1941.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Com-
missioners Morgenstern, Branson and Ferm and City Attorney Norris responded.
Commissioners Breon and Price absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 15, 1941, were read and
approved as read.

Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1941 received as fol -

Commissioner Ferm moved that application be approved and license granted.
Motion adopted.
A petition was presented asking for the curbing and guttering of
Charles Street from Phillips Street to Montrose Avenue. Petition was referred to
the City Engineer..

City Manager Brown recommended the installation of the followinp street
250 C. P. Corner of Montrose Avenue and Morrison Avenue
400 C. P. Corner of Fifth Street and Antrim Street
400 C. P. Corner of Fourth Street and Kirwin Avenue
Commissioner Branson moved that the above recommendations be approved by
the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
City Clerk was instructed to advertise for the sale of 6.2,720.74 Internal
Improvement Bonds, dated August 1, 1941, bearing interest at the rate of 1-1/4
per cent per annum, said bonds to be placed on sale at the office of the City
Clerk, Salina, Kansas, September 29, 1941 at 4:30 P. M. Motion adopted.
On motion of Commissioner Ferm the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
