COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
June 23, 1941,
Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners June 23, 1941. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners Mor-
genstern, Branson, Form and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
Breon absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on t he appraisers reports for
the paving of:
Alley lying between Santa Fe -,'venue and Seventh Street from Ash Street to
Iron Avenue;
Alley lying between Santa Fe Avenue and Seventh Street from Walnut Street
to Ironwen`ue';
and for the curbing and guttering of the following streets;
Eighth Street from Woodland Avenue to Grand Avenue;
Eighth Street from Harsh Street to Hamilton Street;
Funston Street (west side) south of Republic Avenue, abutting Lot 10,
Block 15, g an ou Addition;
Highland Circle (west side) south of Ellsworth Avenue, abutting Lot 1,
Block 8, Highland Court Iddition;
Montrose Street from Charles Street to Crawford Avenue;
Pershing Street (west side) south of Republic Avenue, abutting Lots 4 and 5,
Block 11, Highland Court Addition;
Re ublic Avenue from the east line of Sheridan Street (on the north side of
Republic) andro�east line of Funston (on the south side of Republic) to the
west line of Sherman (on the north side of Republic) to the east line of Pershing
(on the south side of Republic) :
Street;
Republic Avenue (on the nr-th side) from Tenth Street to 16leventh
Second Street from Ash Street to Elm Street;
Second Street _(west side) north of Iron Avenue, abutting Lots 104, 106 and
108, Original Townsite in the City of Salina, Kansas:
Tenth Street from Wilson Street, north 300 feet to connect with the
existing curb and gutter;
Venango Street from Sherman Street to Custer Street; and
Wilson Street from Sherman Street to Eleventh Street.
The appraisers report for the paving of the alley lying between Santa Fe
