Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners March 3, 1941. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Morgenstern, the roll was called and Commissioners Mor-
genstern, Branson, Fenn and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
B r eo n absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 24, 1941 and Special Meeting of
February 24, 1941 were read and approved as read.
Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1941 received as follows:

Commissioner Branson moved that application be approved and license granted.
Motion adopted.
T Hnry Wessling asked for a special permit to construct an apartment house
on Tenth Street between Iron Avenue and State Street. Referred tothe City Planning
Commission.

Memorial Mausoleum to D. 14. Cowden, was presented to theBoard of Commissioners. On
motion of Commissioner Ferm the Mayor was authorized to sign deed on behalf of the
City of Galina. Motion adopted.
H communication was received from Chief of Police, D. K. Fitch, informing the
Board of Commissioners of the conviction in Police Court of Idabel D. Price, doing
business as Chicken Shoppe at 211 :Plast Walnut Street, Salina, kansas, for operating
a game of chance at her place of business located at 211 East "alnut 'street, Salina,
Kansas. Commissioner Branson moved that the City Clerk give Idabel D. Price a
five day notice of a hearing to be held by the Board of Commissioners on March 10,
1941 at 4:30 P. M., for the purpose of determining whether or not the Cereal ldalt
Beverage License issued to Mabel D. Price. January 15, 1941 should be revoked as
provided by law and by Ordinance Number 4741 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
A com-iunication was received from Chief of Police, D. K. Fitch, in reference
to suspension of taxicab drivers License Number 22 issued to Eugene W. Thompson.
On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
