Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners September 23, 1940.
Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Ferm, the roll was called and
Commissioners Ferm, Breon and Price and Acting City Attorney Jenkins responded.
Commissioners Morgenstern and Branson and City Attorney Norris absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 16, 1940 were read

Application for taxicab drivers license for the year 1940 received
from:
James E. Howard
Commissioner Breon moved that application be approved and license
Igranted. Motion adopted. T. A Williams and W J. Taylor appeared before the Board of Commis -

sioners asking permission to move 50 x 120 feet of the building now occupied
by the Salina Seed Company located on North Santa Fe Avenue to Lots 1, 3 and
5. Block 40 Woodland Addition. Action was deferred until Monday, September
30, 1940.
On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
