JULY 29, 1940.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 29, 1940. Meeting
was called to order by Acting Mayor F'erm, the roll was called and Commissioners
I Branson, Farm and Price and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioners Mor-
genstern and Breon absent.
The minutes of the Adjourned Meeting of July 25, 1940 were read and ap-
proved as read.
Applications for taxicab drivers license for the year 1940 received as
follows:

Scott Milleson
David S. Porter
Richard L. Rose
Commissioner Branson moved that applications be approved and license
granted. Motion adopted.
Johnson Bros. appeared before the Board of Commissioners and submitted
plans for the erection of a building on Lots 29, 31, 33, 35 and 37, Block 2, North
Park Addition, said building to be occupied by the Nourse Oil Company. Permission
granted.
Acting Mayor Farm submitted the names of the following Judges and Clerks
as -of date of July 26, 1940, for the Primary Election of August 6, 1940:
