FEBRUARY 1, 1940.
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 1,
1940. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Ferm, the roll
was called and Commissioners Ferm, Branson and Price and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioners Morgenstern and Breon
absent.
Commissioner Price moved that application for retirement and
pension for Lloyd W. Saum, a member of the Salina Fire Department
be approved by the Board of Commissioners. Motion adopted.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Branson the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ferm, Branson and
Price (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Morgenstern and Breon
absent. Acting Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered
A-60.
On motion of Commissioner Price the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
